Boat Wrap

John England had just purchased a new boat and wanted to get a custom vinyl wrap to use as a mobile advertising tool on the lakes this summer for Alex Pro Firearms, Skeeter Boats, and Dobyn's Rods that was not only eye-catching but didn’t take away from the inline style of the boat. At Rose City Incorporated, the Vinyl Division from start to finish will design, produce, and install custom vehicle wraps and decals. Vehicle wraps and decals are cost-effective options that can easily be updated when you need. Let Rose City Vinyl Graphics turn your vehicle into a piece of art or a mobile billboard for your business, either way, you will be turning heads every time you get behind the wheel.

Long Prairie Sign Problem

Before

& Solution

After

Talking with the Long prairie chamber and the youth alcohol prevention coordinator, Rose City Sign was presented with the problem to help the youth alcohol committee to bring updated information to the community. The answer was a group effort by both mentioned facilities to update the old Welcome to Long Prairie sign and manual (hard to change) message sign. Solution—we overlaid all the wood surface with an aluminum signboard and vinyl lettering to eliminate the need to repaint and installed a new 3220 Series Daktronics Full-Color Message center. Now, only one hurdle left: to overcome communication! We installed the traditional either net bridge radios and overcame the distance between the chamber office and the new sign display located on Hwy 71. We installed a Yagi booster antenna; they use these radios to communicate between fire stations in mountainous areas. Solution achieved! Now the chamber can type a new message daily with a push of a button on their computer—they have full-color graphic sent to their new sign in seconds.

Let Rose City Sign upgrade your old or outdated signage and increase business by installing a new electronic message center!

When Rose City Sign of Eagle Bend, Minnesota set out to provide signage for the new Alexandria Area High School, it quickly set up a collaboration with Signs By Benchmark. Having worked together often, the two teams created three new monument signs that incorporate an electronic message center and raised letters.

Standing 108″ high x 168″ wide x 36″ deep, the Main Entrance sign integrates an electronic message center. Two additional signs marking the North and South campus entrances measure 96″ high x 144″ wide x 28″ deep. Each contained raised copy. Created to match existing elements of the school building, the double-sided monuments feature a stipple finish and EIFS brick bases.

“From the very beginning of the new Alexandria High School project, our designers worked with Jamie and his designers to come up with a three sign package that would fit the school’s budget,” said Todd Tolifson, Rose City Sign General Manager. “Through the normal process of changes due to budgetary numbers, we had to redesign. Because of Signs By Benchmark’s ability to adapt to those changes, we were able to provide the school district with two informational entrance signs and one main sign which included a Daktronics full-color message center. Because of a last minute oversight on my part, there were 11th-hour changes that had to be made.”

In this instance, Signs By Benchmark was able to send a two-man crew to help with last-minute revisions.

“With a little hard work we were able to meet customer deadlines and provide a beautiful product that the school and Rose City Sign are very proud of,” said Tolifson. “Great job, Signs by Benchmark. See you at the next job very soon.”
